Ingredients of Nargisi Egg Koftay

  1. Prepare 1 kg of Chicken minced.
  2. You need 6 pcs of Egg.
  3. It's 12 tbsp of Cooking oil.
  4. It's of Curd 1 cup.
  5. It's of salt (ATT).
  6. It's of Kashmiri red chilli powder 2 tsp.
  7. You need 2 tsp of Coriander powder.
  8. Prepare of Cumin powder 2tsp.
  9. It's 1 tsp of Garam Masala.
  10. Prepare 3 pcs of green chillies.
  11. It's leaves of coriander.
  12. It's of onion grated 1 large.
  13. It's of tomato puree 2 large.
  14. Prepare of Ginger garlic paste 1tsp each.
  15. You need 1 tsp of crushed red chillies.
  16. Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  17. It's of onion 2 large sliced for gravy.

  1. Firstly minced the chicken properly.In this chicken add few ingredients like green chillies chopped, coriander chopped, and grated onion..
  2. Then add some more spices like: salt, crushed red chilles or chilli flakes, cumin powder,coriander powder,kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala..
  3. In the same chicken minced mixture add G2 (ginger & garlic paste). Now in it add some besan to act as a binding agent in kofta's. Now mix all of them properly..
  4. After that in other utensil Boil 6 eggs by adding 1 tsp of salt so that its cover comes out easily without any breakage..
  5. Then after that Apply some oil or water on your palm and start making koftas : take one full hand of that chicken minced and spread all on your palm as your palm size.Now in the centre keep one whole egg and then cover it from all the size and give the kofta a perfect and smooth shape.Repeat this process and make all th kofta's.
  6. Now in the pan,add some oil and shallow fry all the kofta's. And keep it aside..
  7. Now to make gravy for it.Take another pan add some oil after the oil gets heated properly and add sliced onion and saute it until soft golden brown..
  8. In it add some ginger garlic paste 1tsp both. Now add 1tsp of water and saute it for 2 min properly until it becomes soft.Again add 1 tsp of water and saute it more properly..
  9. Now time to add some spices salt, red chilli powder, crushed red chilli, garam masala, coriander powder,cumin powder. Then add 2 tsp of water and saute it properly untill it leaves oil from all the sides.After that add tomato puree in it.
  10. Now in the mixture blend all the above masala's with oil properly into thick and fine paste..
  11. Then after, transfer all the masala into the same previous pan and saute it for another 2 min on medium low flame..
  12. Lastly,on the low flame add curd 1 cup and mix them all properly and again cooked it for 5 min on medium flame so that oil comes out from the gravy..
  13. Now finally add those kofta's that was kept aside one by one and add 2 tsp of water according to your gravy consistency. It totay depend on you whether you want gravy kind or shorba but i prefer gravy kind..
  14. Cook them for 10 min max on low flame so that kofta's absorb all the masala and mix in it properly.
  15. Now its time to dish out in the bowl. Cut the kofta from the middle so that your guests can know there is a egg in between and it also look so presentable..
  16. Garnish it with some coriander..
  17. Ready to serve hot in your style from your kitchen.😎.
